CNC Operator / CNC Machinist

Location : Belleville, WI

Pay : $25 - $40 / hour DOE

Shift : Monday - Thursday, 4x10s (flexible start time)

  • Day shift : 6 : 00 a.m. – 4 : 00 p.m.
  • Night shift : 3 : 30 p.m. – 1 : 30 a.m.

Position Overview

We are seeking motivated CNC Operators and CNC Machinists to join a well-established precision machining team. Open to candidates at all levels - from entry-level operators to experienced setup machinists. Entry-level operators will primarily load / unload parts and monitor machines, while experienced machinists will handle setup, programming, and tooling.

Key Responsibilities Entry-Level CNC Operator :

  • Operate CNC lathes (Mori NL and SL series with Mazak controls) and CNC mills (Haas and Doosan)
  • Load raw materials and unload finished parts
  • Monitor machine operations and report issues
  • Perform inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
  • Follow setup sheets, job travelers, and work instructions
  • Clean and perform basic maintenance on machines

    • Experienced CNC Setup Machinist :

  • Set up CNC lathes and mills (tooling, fixturing, offsets)
  • Program using Mazatrol (Mazak conversational) and G-code
  • Produce small to medium-sized parts (2–10 lbs on lathes; up to 60 lbs on mills)
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications
  • Conduct first article and in-process inspections using precision tools
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives

    • Qualifications

  • Entry-Level : Mechanical aptitude, willingness to learn, basic measurement tool knowledge
  • Experienced : 2+ years of CNC operating / setup experience with lathes and / or mills
  • Familiarity with Mazak, Haas, and Doosan machines is a plus
  • Blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge preferred (required for setup roles)
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

  • Monday - Thursday, 4x10 schedule (flexible start times)
  • Day Shift : 6 : 00 AM - 4 : 00 PM
  • Optional Night Shift : 3 : 30 PM - 1 : 30 AM
