CEI Inspector Aide

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented CEI Inspector Aide to join our team!

What You'll Be Doing :

• Conducts and / or participates in inspection activities to determine if work has been done in accordance with contract specifications.
• Performs inspection activities which may include any of the following :
• Demolition of transportation facilities (roads, streets, bridges etc.)
• Construction of roads, bridges, and other associated improvements (curb, gutter, sidewalk, landscaping, etc.)
• Drainage work, traffic control, and compliance with storm water pollution prevention plan (SWPPP) requirements
• Installation of electrical equipment related to traffic signals, ramp metering, and street lighting
• Inspect roadway and overhead sign removal
• Captures project photographs on a daily basis; file / organize
• Maintains office files related to the project, quantity calculations, and writes daily diaries.
• Prepares daily reports and other documentation, as required by the contract.
• Verifies only approved materials are incorporated in the work.
• Recognizes potential issues and problems; reports to supervisor.
• Responds to call backs in case of emergency at the project site.
• Performs work in safe manner and is cognizant of public safety.
