As a Security Guard - Armed Government Patrol Full-Time in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. This position requires carrying a firearm and operating a vehicle as part of your daily responsibilities. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas as required by site-specific policies.Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual observations, or maintenance needs according to established protocols.Collaborate with local law enforcement and / or emergency services as needed during incidents or emergencies.Follow all Allied Universal protocols and client-specific requirements for armed security-related operations.What We're Looking For :

Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or hold a college degree.Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or an equivalent program.Hold a valid armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.Possess a college degree from an accredited institution.Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.Be at least 21 years of age.Hold a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Hold a valid corrections officer license if required by the client or jurisdiction.Provide one of the following : a DD214 with honorable discharge, an associate degree or at least 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.Hold a valid law enforcement officer license if required by the client or jurisdiction.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us :
