What's your day like?

As a Part Time Autism Aide I at Wasatch Behavioral Health, you will play a crucial role in assisting with specialized therapeutic interactions for children with autism. You'll have the opportunity to implement individual and group behavior plans, observe children's interests and actions, and create a safe and interactive environment. Your communication skills will be key as you engage with children to facilitate cooperation and learning, while also promoting social behavior and expectations. In addition, you may have the chance to administer standardized tests, interpret results, and contribute to the development of curriculum and treatment plans tailored to each child's unique needs. Your active involvement in scheduling various activities and monitoring client progress will be essential in promoting positive outcomes.

Successful candidates must meet additional requirements, including passing a drug screen, motor vehicle record review, and criminal background check. Upon hire, individuals must obtain a Criminal Background Clearance (BCI) from the Utah State Office of Licensing.
