Job Summary : This employee is responsible for the inspection of all incoming materials used for the manufacturing of the VTC products.

Responsibilities / Tasks : As a Receiving Inspector, you will be responsible for :

• Performing inspection on incoming product using Receiving Inspection Instructions
• Providing specialty in the inspection of high criticality parts.
• Utilizing various inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to determine the acceptability of parts and materials.
• Understanding and using measurement equipment (Smartscopes) for the measurement of incoming material.
• Performing First Article inspections as needed.
• Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and specifications, using knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance.
• Assisting in the inspection techniques and methods to aid with the implementation of RIIs or tool inspections
• Completing required paperwork for routing acceptable parts to stock.
• Segregating nonconforming materials and accepted materials accordingly.
• Completing documents in a legible, detailed, and comprehensive manner.
• Monitoring the preservation of Receiving Inspection inventory.
• Communicate with supply chain and engineering on quality issues
• Assist Quality Engineers with follow up on the execution of NCMR, CAPA(Corrective Action and Preventive Action) investigations as needed.
• Identifies workmanship and material defects and initiates nonconforming material reports (NCMR's)
• Assisting with projects as needed.
