Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Speech Language Pathologist Discipline : Therapy Start Date : 11 / 24 / 2025 Duration : 10 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 8 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Speech / Language Pathologist II Location : Philadelphia, PA Schedule : 5x 8 Contract : 10 weeks with possibilities of extension Job Summary : The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide inpatient dysphagia, speech, and language services for infants and children with neurological, developmental, and medically based communication and feeding / swallowing disorders. Responsibilities include conducting inpatient and outpatient assessments and interventions, performing video-fluoroscopic swallow studies, consulting with medical and therapy teams, and providing education to patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Inpatient rehabilitation experience is preferred. Skills and Technical Requirements Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Expertise in pediatric speech and language assessment procedures. Understanding of research methods, design, and basic statistics. Education and Licensure Requirements Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required). License in Speech-Language Pathology from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and / or New Jersey, or eligibility to obtain within 3 months of hire. CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology) required upon hire. Experience : Minimum of 2 years of licensed experience required. Pediatric medical-based experience preferred.
