Miller Children s and Women s Hospital in sunny Long Beach, California, is seeking a compassionate and skilled full-time BC / BE Neonatologist to join their prestigious Regional Level IV NICU team, offering advanced neonatal care in a collaborative and supportive environment affiliated with the University of California Irvine and Children s Hospital of Orange County. Job Responsibilities : Provide expert care to critically ill neonates in a Regional Level IV NICU with an average daily census of 55 patients and 1,400 admissions annually. Collaborate closely with Maternal-Fetal Medicine physicians, Obstetric Hospitalists, and pediatric medical and surgical subspecialists. Participate in advanced neonatal services such as maternal and neonatal transport, whole-body cooling, inhaled nitric oxide (iNO) therapy, and palliative care. Engage actively in the NICU s continuous quality improvement programs to ensure the highest standards of care. Contribute to and benefit from an academic environment linked to University of California Irvine and Children s Hospital of Orange County. This is a permanent, full-time position that requires residency within the immediate local area. Relocation may be required. Qualifications : Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. Post-fellowship experience as a Neonatologist. California Medical License or ability to obtain. Clean malpractice and medical license history preferred. Experience as a Neonatologist with documented years of experience. Current residency in the area or willingness to relocate. DEA license must be obtained prior to start. License and Certification Requirements : Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
