Telemetry Registered Nurse | Winston-Salem, North Carolina

A nursing opportunity is available for a skilled RN with telemetry experience in Winston-Salem, NC. This contract role offers a chance to provide expert patient care on a dynamic telemetry unit, focusing primarily on medical-surgical patients while maintaining tele monitoring capabilities.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n

• Deliver direct patient care with an emphasis on telemetry monitoring and medical-surgical nursing\n
• Administer blood products, manage peripheral lines, and start IVs\n
• Utilize Rapid Response protocols and serve as Charge RN as needed\n
• Follow isolation precautions and provide care involving Heparin, insulin, PCA, and nasal cannula oxygen delivery\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes and maintain a 1 : 6 nurse-to-patient ratio\n\nQualifications And Experience\n
• Current RN license with a minimum of 2 years telemetry and inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience; first-time travel nurses will not be considered\n
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required\n
• Proficiency in Epic electronic health record system\n
• Ability to pass a mandatory Pass / Fail EKG exam during onboarding\n
• Flexibility to work 12-hour night shifts (7 : 00 p.m. 7 : 30 a.m.), including every-other-weekend and holiday rotation, with occasional float duties\n
