Geo-Synthetics Systems LLC (GSI) is a leading installer of geotextile liners in the USA. From landfills to power and energy, civil construction to EPA and Corp. of Engineers projects, pulp and paper to oil and gas, aquaculture to agriculture and mining, we've left our mark everywhere. Our extensive experience includes the successful lining of over 700 million square feet, utilizing a comprehensive range of advanced materials such as HDPE, LLDPE, PVC, Reinforced Plastic Sheeting (RPE / RPP), Hypalon, and XR-5 liners.

Our operations are headquartered in Waukesha, Wisconsin, with installation crews strategically located across the country.

Position Summary :

We are seeking a highly qualified Geo-Synthetic Liner Superintendent to help us successfully complete our installation projects. The Superintendent will be responsible for directing on-site geomembrane / geotextile liner installation operations at jobsites across the United States. As the leader of our projects, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring employee safety, upholding quality and production objectives, and delivering on the promise of exceptional customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities : Project Leadership :

  • Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of site personnel.
  • Collaborate with the project team and other contractors on the job site to establish safety, quality, and production requirements.
  • Develop production schedules and prioritize, schedule, and delegate work assignments to the liner crew to ensure the timely completion of job site requirements.

Safety Leadership :

  • Conduct comprehensive job site safety analyses and lead daily safety meetings with the liner construction crew.
  • Develop and enforce policies and procedures to ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental regulations, and various regulatory agencies.

    • Equipment and Maintenance Management :

  • Ensure proper maintenance of equipment and vehicles, scheduling preventive maintenance and repairs.

    • Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Geosynthetic Liner installation experience.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience leading a project team.
  • Ability to travel to and work at remote job sites across the United States frequently (relocation to Waukesha, WI is not required).
