Entry Level Accountant (HYBRID)

Cash Application Specialist

Review cash reports and make necessary corrections.

Resolve and close C01 exceptions.

Resolve and close Remedy cases related to Accounting Customer Service.

Verify that all cash reports are closed by store and processed before month-end close.

Prepare journal entries as needed.

Collaborate with Car Wash, Credit Card, Lottery, Money Orders, Commission Fuels, Gas Accounting, and Sales Tax groups as required.

Work with Market Managers and Field Consultants as needed.

Perform special duties as assigned.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

Experience with Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and formatting.

Previous experience analyzing data.

Skills in accounting, cash application, invoicing, coding, accounts receivable, accounts payable, purchase order, finance, debits, and credits.

Strong math aptitude.

Self-starter with the ability to work independently.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Demonstrated analytical skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

This is a hybrid, contract-to-hire position based out of Irving, Texas.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00 / hr.
