9am or 9 : 30am start time till 3 : 30-4 : 00pm with flexibility to occasionally work a little later as needed.
4+ years experience in a legal assistant, legal secretary, or paralegal position. Very quick typing skills (above 60wpm) and computer literate in MS Office with very high attention to detail.
Estate law / probate experience is a plus. Long term temporary position.
In this job, you will transcribe information from a recording (Dictaphone), and type the details with accuracy. Handle phone calls, emails, prepare documents for cases, update files, and other legal office tasks. A high level of accuracy is necessary and the ability to follow precise directions, and complete tasks to meet daily deadlines.
Small independent attorney office. Reliability and punctuality are essential. Paralegal skills are helpful.
$27-$30 / hr. depending on the level of experience
