Senior Accountant - Life & Annuity

Overview

We are looking for a Senior Accountant with Life & Annuity experience for our client on a project basis. This contract role is fully remote.

Responsibilities

• Post journal entries in accordance with GAAP and Statutory accounting standards.
• Perform quarterly balance sheet reconciliations for both GAAP and Stat books.
• Assist in the preparation of Blue Book filings and other statutory reporting requirements.
• Support GAAP cash flow statement preparation and contribute to footnote disclosures.
• Collaborate with the controller to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Apply deep knowledge of life and annuity products to ensure proper accounting treatment and compliance.
