Pride Health is seeking a Safety Specialist to join our client in Canton, OH . The Safety Specialist will support workplace safety, compliance, and process improvement by conducting audits, training employees, and ensuring adherence to OSHA and company standards. This is a contract role with both day and night shift opportunities.

- Contract Length : 5 Months with possible extension
- Training Schedule (First 3 weeks) : Sun–Wed | 7 : 30 AM – 6 : 00 PM, Wed–Sat | 7 : 30 AM – 6 : 00 PM
- Shift Schedules (Post-training, subject to business needs) : Days : Mon–Tue, Thu–Fri | 7 : 30 AM – 6 : 00 PM, Nights : Mon–Tue, Thu–Fri | 6 : 30 PM – 5 : 00 AM
- Pay Rate : $40 - $44.97 / hour ( Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.

Key Responsibilities
Identify compliance issues, risks, and improvement opportunities through daily, weekly, and monthly audits.Facilitate investigations and maintain all required compliance documentation.Enter information into internal safety databases in a timely and accurate manner.Perform observations, audits, and incident reviews.Train and assist Area Managers and team members in safety responsibilities, rules, and audit processes.Deliver safety-specific training as directed by management.Support fire prevention, hazardous waste management, and other related safety initiatives.Participate in process improvement activities and manage corrective actions to completion.Required Qualifications
1+ year of experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) or a related field, OR a bachelor's degree in a related discipline.Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations (29 CFR 1910).Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.Ability to maintain confidentiality in sensitive workplace situations.Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends as needed.Preferred Qualifications
