Job Description

This position is a customer and internal facing position responsible for ensuring ongoing day-to-day operations of the quality department. This position is responsible for ensuring the voice of the customer is clearly identified and takes action to ensure implementation of processes and procedures are enacted. In additional this position oversees the day-to-day operations of a team of quality professionals to ensure objectives are met and compliance to requirements are confirmed

Job Responsibilities :

Essential Job Functions :

• Within the LaFox facility, coordinates with a cross functional team to address customer concerns and requests, including First Article and PPAP submissions;
• Speak to customers using industry standard terminology within a variety of industries including Semiconductor, Automotive, Medical Devices and Aerospace;
• Initiates and monitors corrective actions, preventive actions, and continuous improvement projects;
• Using good technical judgment, ensure customer requests for corrective action or failure analysis are complete and unambiguous;
• Oversees the inspection team including responsibilities for incoming, in process and final inspections. Manages resources to ensure timely processing of parts to meet production and shipping deadlines;
• Verifies implementation of document or product changes;
• Manages the calibration process;
• Develops and controls control plans and inspection criteria;
• Manages the Non Conforming Material process for LFM;
• Assist with monitoring trends in customer returns and proactively addressing issues;
• Trains other employees on quality concepts;
• Other related duties as assigned.

Non-essential Job Functions :

Working Environment : Office, warehouse and manufacturing environments.

Qualification Requirements : Electrical or Mechanical (or related discipline) Engineering Degree, or 7-10 years in a technical field. Should possess good computer skills. Knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel are required. Knowledge of MS Access and Minitab Statistical Software is a plus.

Pay Range : $100,000 to $120,000 plus incentive
