Shift : 8-hour night shifts
Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week
Experience : 3+ years of current experience (within the last 6 months)
License : Current New Hampshire license
Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS)
Must-Have :
- Own form of transportation required
- COVID Vaccination Series and Booster
- Must be willing to work Christmas-New Year Day block if needed
- No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted
- Willingness to float
- IV certified preferred
- Previous travel experience is highly preferred
- Rural / small facility experience is highly preferred
Job Description :
Observe each resident continuously, noting changes in mental and physical well-being.Notify the Supervisor of pertinent observations and discuss the need to inform the physician.Receive and give detailed shift reports on resident status and events.Accurately receive, transcribe, and execute physician's orders.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, documenting them properly via a computerized system.Supervise Licensed Nursing Assistants in line with licensing requirements.Assign nursing staff to resident care duties consistent with their abilities and job descriptions.Assist direct-care staff with nursing care as necessary.Accompany physicians on resident rounds to address medical needs.Administer oxygen provision, gastrostomy / jejunostomy feedings, and wound care.Perform regular duties such as checking appointments and overseeing infection control practices.Admit, discharge, and transfer residents, completing all necessary documentation and notifications.Complete a 24-hour report for the assigned unit, maintaining consistent communication with supervisors regarding resident issues.Communicate with residents' families to resolve concerns and obtain necessary consent.Assume responsibility for the management of the assigned unit during the shift, following state and federal regulations.Assist with orientation of new nursing employees and communicate staff education needs.Evaluate nursing staff members and recommend disciplinary actions as necessary.Client Details
