job_description.job_card.job_descriptionWhoever takes call on the weekend will take Weds / Thurs call the following week Practice Setting : Inpatient Types of Cases : Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), Aortic / Mitral valve replacement / repairs, Ascending aortic root work, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), routine lung / lobectomy, mediastinoscopy EMR : EPIC Average Daily Census : 10-12 inpatients, up to 17 office patients Support Staff : APPs help as first assist, RN's + RNFA, MAs, 1 other CT Surgeon # of Hearts per year : 218 in 2024 & 147 through August 2025 Certifications : BLS, ACLS (AHA, in-person only) Active PA License - Highly Preferred Required Experience : CT Surgery Preferred Experience : Robotic experience Board Certified Cardiothoracic Surgery Minimum Candidate Commitment : 2 weeks per month Clean files
Coverage Needed
- Start Date : As soon as credentialed
- End Date : Ongoing for 6 months, potential to extend
- Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
Call : Every other weekend for call and rounding, Estimated 1 : 2 weeknight call
