Senior Roofing and Siding Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Roofing and Siding Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, particularly in roofing and siding installation. This role requires hands-on experience with various tools and materials, as well as the ability to read and interpret schematics. The contractor will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed to high standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain roofing systems using various materials such as shingles, metal, and tiles. Install / Repair siding materials including vinyl, wood, or fiber cement on residential and commercial properties. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently. Perform trim carpentry work as needed to ensure proper fit and finish of roofing and siding installations. Conduct caulking to seal joints and prevent water intrusion. Read and interpret construction schematics to follow project specifications accurately. Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations. Collaborate with other contractors on the construction site to ensure timely project completion. Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the duration of projects. Qualifications Valid Driver's License Proven experience in roofing, siding installation, or related construction fields. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to roofing and siding work. Strong understanding of trim carpentry techniques is preferred. Ability to read schematics and blueprints accurately. Knowledge of remodeling processes is a plus. Must be able to plumb structures correctly to ensure proper alignment during installations. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
