job_description.job_card.job_descriptionFull-time opportunity at our Baltimore main campus Collaborate with a skilled multidisciplinary team of pediatric specialists, therapists, and nurses ina family centered care model Provide medical management and care coordination for children with complex conditions Participate in a hospital culture that emphasizes family involvement and holistic care Feeding and nutrition support – oral and tube feeding, TPN / IL therapy, GERD management Respiratory care – oxygen dependence, BiPAP / CPAP, tracheostomy and ventilator management / training Infusion and medication management – IV antibiotics, infusion therapy, medication adjustments, chelation therapy for lead poisoning Cardiac and pulmonary care – pre- and post-surgical monitoring, pulmonary hypertension management Comprehensive support for NICU graduates and children with congenital malformations Pain and palliative care focused on quality of life Family-centered services – care coordination, discharge planning, community provider scheduling, and overnight accommodations for parents Board-Certified Pediatrician with at least 5 years of post-pediatric residency experience Subspecialty experience or training is a plus (e.g., pulmonology, gastroenterology, complex care) Strong communication and collaboration skills; approachable, team-oriented, and family-focused Commitment to caring for children with high-acuity and chronic medical needs Partner with world-class institutions : Johns Hopkins Medicine & University of Maryland Medical System Accredited by the Joint Commission and CARF for excellence in pediatric specialty programs. Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital (MWPH), a joint affiliate of the University of Maryland Medical System and Johns Hopkins Medicine, is seeking an experienced Board-Certified Pediatrician to join our dedicated care team with at least 5 years of clinical experience in Baltimore, MD.
The ideal candidate will be :
- Collaborative and team-oriented – able to work seamlessly with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, therapists, and community providers
- Friendly and approachable – fostering trust with patients, families, and colleagues

Additional Information :
Compensation : $225,000-240000 annual salary. Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, training, and qualifications.
