Position Summary : The pharmacy technician must work with pharmacy staff, Quality Correctional Care staff, and county staff to provide medications to inmates and facilities.

Mandatory Functions :

• Comply with all current and future state, federal, and local laws and regulations.
• Comply with court orders, medical department rules and the policies and procedures of Quality Rx.
• Review prescriptions for accuracy, appropriate therapy, and interactions and communicate
• Assist pharmacist by accurately and efficiently processing, packaging, and dispensing prescriptions
• Remove outdated and damaged drugs from the pharmacy inventory.
• Closely manage inventory in a cost-effective manner
• Recommend improved procedures, equipment, and supplies to supervisor.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Present / participate in in-service education sessions.
• Maintain professional attitude at all times.
• Any and all duties as assigned.

Requirements : Pharmacy technician must be licensed in the state of Indiana.

Position Details : This is a part-time position, Monday & Tuesday, 8AM-4PM, with the possibility / option for additional hours in the future.
