Patient Account Representative

A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative- Remote.

Key Responsibilities

Research and resolve uncollected account balances through communication with payors and patients

Document account actions and maintain productivity and quality standards

Assist with special projects and escalate payment delays to management as necessary

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

High School diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in business administration or accounting preferred

1-4 years of medical claims and / or hospital collections experience

Basic knowledge of Commercial, Managed Care, Medicare, and Medicaid insurance

Intermediate skill in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

Minimum typing requirement of 45 wpm
