Role

This individual will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinical services, while providing unwavering support to patients throughout their treatment journey. The core responsibilities include managing patient intake, scheduling, data entry, and supporting the day-to-day operations of care delivery. However, the most important aspects of this role go beyond technical skills—our Care Support Specialists are the face of the organization and the first point of contact for patients. They are responsible for creating a welcoming, empathetic, and supportive environment for all patients, ensuring they feel heard, respected, and encouraged, regardless of the circumstances.

Schedule : Monday - Friday, 9a-5p CST

Location : Nashville, TN

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for patients, offering professional, empathetic communication that fosters trust and comfort.
• Provide administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of clinical services, including managing patient intake, scheduling, and data entry.
• Address patient concerns and challenges with understanding and unconditional positive regard, supporting and empowering patients throughout their treatment journey.
• Collect and accurately document patient details, medical history, and consent forms, ensuring accurate data entry into the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
• Verify patient insurance coverage, assist with pre-authorizations, and ensure proper documentation for billing.
• Ensure all patient records are complete, accurate, and up-to-date in the EHR system, including treatment plans and test results, while maintaining confidentiality.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure timely and efficient patient care, addressing needs and concerns as they arise.
• Adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations, maintaining the confidentiality of all patient-related information.
