Job Description
An international company located near Plano, TX is seeking a motivated Administrative Assistant with strong proficiency in Japanese language and a solid understanding of Japanese business culture . Responsibilities :
- Provide administrative support to Business Unit management and team members.
- Perform various office administrative and clerical tasks in collaboration with different departments.
- Coordinate business operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies, including scheduling meetings, managing business trips, and processing invoices.
- Manage general administrative tasks such as ordering supplies, booking conference rooms and restaurants, and running errands.
- Handle inventory, shipments, and deliveries related to the business unit.
- Maintain and update accurate administrative data, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Analyze and represent data using Excel and PowerPoint in a timely and efficient manner when needed.
- Assist in organizing internal team events and functions.
- Serve as the initial point of contact for administrative inquiries.
- Ensure efficient internal communications and alignment across functional areas.
- Support submission of administrative documents to appropriate departments or external organizations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision and hearing.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required.3–5 years of success in administration, customer service, or HR support.Prior administrative assistant experience is required .Fluency in Japanese and familiarity with Japanese business culture are required for this role.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.Strong interpersonal and customer service orientation.Ability to multitask and manage shifting priorities effectively.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.High level of confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism.Strong organizational, analytical, and time management abilities.Collaborative mindset with a proactive and resourceful approach.Familiarity with HR processes and company-wide policies is a plus.Friendly demeanor, positive attitude, and a strong team player.Activ8 Recruitment & Solutions / Renaissance Resources Inc. has been a trusted leader in North American recruiting for Japanese businesses for over 25 years.
