Job Title : Data Engineer (Scala)

Location : Remote

Job Type : Contract

Responsibilities :

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for batch and real-time data processing.
  • Develop and optimize ETL / ELT workflows using Python and Scala.
  • Monitor performance and troubleshoot system issues for scalability and reliability.
  • Document design decisions, workflows, and best practices
  • The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with large datasets and a deep understanding of data architecture

Skills :

  • Strong programming skills in Python and Scala.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and database design.
  • Experience with ETL tools or custom pipeline development.
  • Familiarity with Big Data technologies such as Apache Spark, Kafka, Hadoop (optional but preferred).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) nice to have.
  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.

    • Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills
