Job Description

As a Security Officer - Commercial Property Unarmed Patrol in Atlanta, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a vibrant commercial real estate location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service and communication to visitors and tenants. By conducting routine patrols and remaining visible, you play a key role in creating a secure environment. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the maintenance of a secure environment.
  • Conduct both regular and random patrols throughout the property and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor the premises for unusual activity and promptly report any suspicious behavior or hazards.
  • Maintain a visible presence at the location to help to deter unwanted behavior and promote a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Work collaboratively with property management, staff, and other Allied Universal personnel to address security-related concerns and support client needs.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and / or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
