About The Position

License : Required

Certifications : BCLS, NBSTSAS

Must-Have :

• Experience in receiving pump lines from perfusion and preparing them for cannulation.
• Proficiency in various cardiac and vascular surgical procedures.
• Ability to work CV call and holidays.

Description :

Please provide 2-3 days of interview availability when submitting candidates.

CV call and holiday coverage is required.

Candidates must be able to receive pump lines from perfusion and prepare them for cannulation.

First-time travelers are accepted if they have Level 1 trauma experience.

Call requirement is approximately 60-70 hours a month, including one weekend a month from Friday at 5 PM until 7 : 30 AM Monday morning.

Candidates may be required to work additional call hours occasionally before regular shifts from 5-9 PM during the week.

Required skills include but are not limited to :

Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.

Travelers are required to float within the hospital or to nearby facilities as needed.

All certifications must be valid and held prior to the start date.

References from 2 supervisors are required.

Candidates should consider that local travelers are accepted for surgical services positions.

Floating is mandatory for all travelers.
