IL CORN AG ADVOCACY COMMUNICATIONS INTERNSHIPSummer 2026

IL Corn will offer one Ag Advocacy Internship in the summer of 2026 to assist the IL Corn Communications and Advocacy programs in the association’s outreach goals.

Intern Responsibilities :

The IL Corn Intern will work in the following areas :

Public Relations, Marketing and Communications support.

Writing, design and video production.

Presentations about corn and corn farmers to non-farmers and teachers.

Attend IL Corn events and help support.

Member data management and analysis.

Policy and advocacy support.

General office administrative tasks (phones, technology support, etc).

Work Schedule :

The Intern will work in the Bloomington IL Corn office, Monday – Friday, 8 : 00 – 4 : 30 pm. The internship commences on or around June 1. The Intern can expect a reasonable amount of flexibility for pre-approved changes to this schedule.

Professional Development :

• The intern will have the opportunity to interact with association professionals, educators, and a wide cross-section of agricultural leaders.
• The Intern will attend an introductory experience in Washington, DC.
