About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse - Case Management

Experience : Minimum of 2 years in acute care hospital and case management

License : Required

Certifications : BLS

Must-Have : Strong acute care hospital experience, utilization review and discharge planning experience, previous travel experience preferred.

Description :

EMR : Cerner, & Interqual for Utilization Review.

Inpatient only.

All inpatients requiring utilization review and discharge planning.

Nurse will be responsible for performing utilization review as well as overseeing discharge planning.

Shifts are 5 days per week, typically from 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break and two 15-minute paid breaks.

Business casual attire is required, with a white lab coat (cares for their own).

Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts during the 13-week assignment, with different cancellation policies for shorter assignments.

Charting system is Cerner.
