HazMat Retail Driver - CDL (B)

Hazmat Retail Driver Technician

The HazMat Retail Driver Technician will be responsible for operating class B trucks in a Less Than Truckload (LTL) capacity to pick up customer retail waste from retail stores, pharmacies, and / or industrial sites. Customer waste is sorted, packaged, verified, secured, and transported to temporary storage or treatment facilities. Provides excellent customer service. Maintains electronic log and documentation of manifests and work orders. Performs a variety of duties that comply with government regulations and procedures.

Principal Responsibilities :

• Performs LTL pickups.
• Maintains company equipment.
• Ensures customer satisfaction.
• Maintains vehicle log.
• Maintains documentation of manifests and work orders.
• Performs DOT pre-trip and post trip inspections.
• Processes hazardous and non-hazardous materials as needed.
• Assists in maintaining good housekeeping at the facility and on grounds.
• Functions as a technician on lab pack and field service projects.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
