  • Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse Contract\n
  • Location : Charleston, SC (South Carolina nursing jobs)\n
  • Start Date : November 17, 2025\n
  • End Date : February 16, 2026\n
  • Duration : 13 weeks\n
  • Shifts : 3x12-hour day shifts (07 : 00 – 19 : 30), including holiday rotation\n
  • Hours per Week : 36\n
  • Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend\n
  • On-Call : 12 hours per 4-week period\n
  • Patient Ratio : 1 : 2\n
  • Charting System : EPIC\n
  • Unit : Labor & Delivery (17 beds, 21 rooms, daily census ~12)\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary : $1530 - $1640\n

    • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience (labor and delivery nursing jobs preferred)\n
  • Active South Carolina or Multi-State / Compact RN license (license in hand preferred; pending considered with proof of application)\n
  • Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)\n
  • Experience in high-risk antepartum, teaching hospital settings, triage, high-risk deliveries, and C-section recovery\n
  • Proficiency with Epic charting system\n
  • First-time travel nurses welcome\n

    • \n\nLabor & Delivery RN Responsibilities\n \n

  • Deliver comprehensive patient care to laboring mothers, including high-risk antepartum and postpartum patients\n
  • Perform triage of obstetrical patients and assist with high-risk deliveries\n
  • Provide post C-section recovery care and circulate for C-section procedures\n
  • Utilize and calibrate intrauterine pressure catheters (IUPC) and maintain central lines (CVC / PICC)\n
  • Administer medications such as anticoagulants, antihypertensives, insulin drips, and magnesium sulfate therapy\n
  • Conduct sterile vaginal exams and follow isolation precautions / PPE protocols\n
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, PT, RT, pharmacy, and social services\n
  • Participate in self-scheduling and maintain flexibility for unit needs, including on-call and weekend shifts\n
