Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is hiring full-time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at our state-of-the-art service and retail tire sales centers in the Baton Rouge, LA area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.

Responsibilities — Assistant Manager

As a future leader of Mavis, the Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure each Mavis location operates efficiently, safely and effectively. Responsibilities include enforcing established policies, procedures and standards; scheduling mechanics / technicians work; managing outside orders; ensuring the quality and timely completion of jobs; meeting customer expectations; and maintaining the safety of team members.

Responsibilities — Service Manager

The Service Manager assists customers with tire selections and recommends necessary under-car repair services. They direct the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians and Tire Technicians and stage vehicle repair / maintenance work. They drive sales initiatives, communicate with customers, assess needs, provide information regarding repairs and maintenance, ensure customer satisfaction with the in-store experience, and strive to meet customer expectations.

Qualifications

We recruit team members who commit to complete customer satisfaction and high-quality service. To be eligible for the position, you must : (1) be at least 18 years of age; (2) be legally authorized to work in the United States; and (3) have (i) 1 year of experience and / or training in automotive parts and / or tire sales, (ii) 1 year of experience and / or training in automotive repairs / maintenance, or (iii) any combination of education, training, and experience demonstrating the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
