Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Neonatal ICU (NICU) night shift position requiring Oregon licensure and the ability to float to Pediatrics.
Responsibilities
Work in the NICU unit of a hospital settingNICU patient census is 12 with a 1 : 3 nurse-to-patient ratioNight shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts from 19 : 00 to 07 : 30Will float to Pediatrics and possibly stable post-partum couplet care as neededOrientation shifts are provided for float departmentsUses EPIC charting system, experience strongly preferred but not requiredWeekend shifts required every other weekendCandidates will provide care to critically ill neonates as well as pediatric patients and post-partum couplets when floatingAnnual training modules must be completed during orientationReferences from recent supervisor positions are required for considerationModules for orientation are non-billable if completed within the first 8 hoursCandidates who cancel with less than 14 days notice will not be eligible for future assignmentsRequirements
Active Oregon RN license required; pending license considered case by caseMinimum 2 years of NICU RN experience requiredCertifications required : BLS and NRP; PALS preferredExperience with EPIC EMR preferredCandidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility with proof of address requiredFirst-time travelers will not be considered for this positionNo more than 7 total days of requested time off during the 13-week assignmentBenefits
