Program Support Tech (Multi-Hire, Position No. 00024, 01446)
The VA Department of Motor Vehicles is looking to hire Program Support Technicians for two positions with our Data Integrity work unit. The Data Integrity Program Support Technician will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of DMV records by processing, analyzing, and verifying data. The role includes managing financial settlements, ensuring compliance with DMV policies, and resolving complex record discrepancies. This position also supports internal and external customers by addressing inquiries and improving operational workflows to enhance data quality and efficiency. This role requires advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to process and resolve complex data discrepancies while adhering to DMV policies, confidentiality protocols, and regulatory requirements with high attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. The Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), headquartered in Richmond, Virginia, serves approximately 6.2 million licensed drivers and ID card holders with over 8.4 million registered vehicles.
