Create and maintain a Job Parts Control Sheet (JPCS) in Excel for procurement. Strong Excel proficiency is highly beneficial. Collaborate with the CAD and electrical design teams to support testing, validation, and integration of electrical designs and PLC programs. Participate in testing and verification of PLC programming (DirectLOGIC Software) to ensure quality and reliability. Automation and Controls Specialist / Engineer
Our client is seeking a hands-on Automation and Controls Specialist / Engineer to join their growing team. This individual will play a key role in designing, programming, and supporting automation systems that power innovative solutions for their customers.
Location : Covington, GA (Headquarters)
Must be a US Citizen or a Green Card Holder
Key Responsibilities
- PLC Programming – Develop and implement PLC programs from scratch to support a wide range of products and systems.
- Program using Carel Software and Automation Direct (DirectLOGIC) PLCs. Experience with Allen Bradley, Siemens , and other platforms is highly desirable.
- Provide remote technical support (phone and email) to troubleshoot customer issues.
- Travel to customer sites as needed for installation support, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
- Minimum 5 years of direct PLC programming experience required.
