We are a well-funded, rapidly growing Bay Area startup at the intersection of ML and chip design, backed by top-tier investors. We’re assembling an elite founding team to redefine how advanced chips are designed and delivered.

About the Opportunity

Drive the technical vision for ML-driven chip design automation.
Lead and mentor a team of world-class ML engineers and researchers.
Shape and deploy novel agent-based ML systems to tackle automation in chip design, RTL code generation, and physical design tasks.
Collaborate closely with hardware teams to identify and solve critical bottlenecks in design pipelines using state-of-the-art ML.
Stay at the forefront of ML for EDA, reinforcement learning, and multi-agent systems.

Your Background

PhD (or equivalent) in Computer Science, EE, Mathematics, or related field, with a focus on ML, AI, or Deep Learning.

5+ years (8+ preferred) of hands-on experience leading ML teams and delivering production ML systems.

Deep expertise in reinforcement learning , self-supervised learning, multi-agent systems, and novel ML architectures.

Proven record in building end-to-end ML pipelines , agentic environments, and driving research into scalable production systems.

Publications in top ML or EDA venues strongly preferred.

Experience with cloud-native and distributed systems .

Thrives in fast-paced, research-driven environments and obsessed with pushing the limits of what’s possible.
