Shipping & Receiving Clerk

A fast-paced production and distribution company is seeking a highly motivated Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support daily operations. This position plays a critical role in managing inbound and outbound shipments, inventory control, and supplemental production work. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a physically active role.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and count incoming stock for damage or discrepancies
• Log and track inventory in the company's system by purchase order and ship date
• Process shipments and returns via UPS / FedEx and freight carriers
• Coordinate with vendors and internal operations to ensure timely delivery and receipt
• Package and kit parts accurately for outgoing shipments based on sales orders
• Track return merchandise authorizations (RMAs) and defective product resolutions
• Ensure warehouse is clean and organized using 5S methodology or similar
• Support monthly and annual physical inventory counts
• Assist with production support tasks including baseline assembly work
• Maintain open communication with facility management and operations team
