Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A .5 FTE social worker position is available for the 2025-2026 school year at a K-12 elementary school located in Joliet, IL. This contract role will serve as an integral part of the schools support team, working directly with students, families, and staff to address social, emotional, and behavioral needs.

Responsibilities include :

• Providing individual and group counseling to students from diverse backgrounds
• Conducting assessments and developing intervention plans tailored to student needs
• Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student success and well-being
• Connecting students and families with munity resources and support services
• Assisting with crisis intervention and prevention programs within the school setting
