Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Nuclear Medicine Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 8 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Procedures / Skills : Administer radiopharmaceuticals, operate gamma cameras and thyroid uptake probes SPECT and SPECT / CT imaging, image data processing and SPECT reconstruction Radiation safety practices, handling / disposal of radioactive waste IV starts, injections, and removals for nuclear medicine studies Prepare, dispense, document, and store radiopharmaceuticals per NY DOH Quality control procedures (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly) per ACR PACS and EPIC documentation, patient education, interdisciplinary communication Certifications Required : NMTCB or ARRT(N), NYS Radiologic Technologist license, BLS (AHA, HSI, or Red Cross) About Nationwide Therapy Group NTG is a proud partner with healthcare professionals across the country.
