We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Associate Planner to join our dynamic team. The Associate Planner will play a critical role in supporting our planning initiatives through research, data analysis, project coordination, and communication with internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities :
Conduct research and data analysis to support planning projects and policy development.
Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and planning documents.
Coordinate and communicate with clients, vendors, and team members to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met.
Use GIS and other planning software to analyze spatial data and create maps.
Organize and participate in virtual meetings, public hearings, and community outreach sessions.
Review plans and proposals for compliance with regulations and organizational objectives.
Maintain project files, documentation, and databases.
Prepare and distribute project updates to stakeholders.
Support senior planners and project managers as needed on various assignments.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Environmental Science, Public Administration, or a related field.
2+ years of professional experience in urban or regional planning, or a related discipline.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and planning software (ArcGIS, AutoCAD, etc.).
Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a virtual team environment.
Excellent time management and attention to detail.
Compensation :
Hourly Pay Rate : $28-$45 per hour (commensurate with experience and qualifications).
