The Moderator Consultant leads peer-based learning groups using facilitation techniques, industry knowledge, and business performance tools to help clients achieve ongoing improvements. This role also provides consultative services to individual clients and contributes to the development and promotion of the company’s services and offerings. We are seeking backgrounds in RV, Powersports or Marine industries.
Duties and Responsibilities
Use facilitation expertise to moderate 20 Group meetings to create improved client success and satisfaction.
Diagnose group dynamics and client challenges to ensure effective group engagement and outcomes.Adjust facilitation style to meet the needs of individuals and the group.Study 20 Group reports, industry performance, and current events to ensure preparation for each meeting.Communicate with members between meetings to support follow-up actions.Work with the internal support group to ensure meetings are well-organized and that client needs are met.ConsultingUse data, business models, and proven tools to help clients identify, diagnose, and address key problems and opportunities.
Effectively teach and explain concepts and solutions in ways that clients understand and can act upon.Recommend practical solutions and gain client buy-in for implementation.Ensure follow-through on solutions by supporting execution, providing resources, and adjusting plans as needed.Identify and coordinate additional internal or external resources to achieve client goals.Sales, Marketing, and Product Development SupportPromote and support the sale of company services and materials by identifying needs and offering relevant solutions through a consultative approach.
Stay current on industry trends and all offerings to serve as an informed resource to clients.Contribute to the improvement of current services and the development of new products and offerings.Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree preferred, however requirement may be satisfied with equivalent combination of education and work experience.10-15 years of General Manager or Dealer Principal experience within an dealership preferred.OEM or dealership group management experience considered an asset.Advanced knowledge of dealership financial statements and financial management best practices.Advanced knowledge of dealership operations and business acumen.Advanced capabilities with Microsoft Office.Strong time management skills.Superior ability to multi-task.Strong attention to detail.Strong planning and project management skills.Strong interpersonal skills.Superior customer service skills.Demonstrate initiative; be a self-starter.Ability to travel.
