Senior Infrastructure & Security Engineer (On-Site Role - Northern Virginia)

Salary Range : $140,000 - $195,000 per year

Location : Dulles, VA (On-site only, no remote option)

What You'll Do :

  • Lead design, implementation, and maintenance of WAN, LAN, wireless, and cloud systems
  • Manage network security, performance, and scalability across global offices
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits
  • Implement and manage SIEM, IDS / IPS, endpoint protection, and VPNs
  • Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans
  • Collaborate with software and infrastructure teams to align security practices
  • Respond to incidents and maintain high availability across systems
  • Research and recommend improvements to security posture and infrastructure

    • What the Company Needs :

  • 10+ years in IT infrastructure, network, and security
  • 5+ years in a senior technical or engineering role
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and hybrid environments
  • Strong troubleshooting and incident response background
  • Must be inquisitive, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced, global setting
  • Individual contributor mindset with potential to grow into leadership
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and strategic thinking skills
  • Preferred certifications : CISSP, CISM, CISA

  • Experience implementing security solutions in a 24 / 7 global environment
  • Background in infrastructure with a transition into cybersecurity
  • Familiarity with SIEM systems, endpoint protection, and cloud security tools
  • Ability to work across departments and influence technical strategy
