About The Position

Job Title : Ultrasound Technician

Profession : Ultrasound Technician

Specialty : Ultrasound Tech RVT Certified

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Nights

Hours per Shift : 12 hours (6 : 30 PM - 7 : 00 AM)

Experience : Minimum 2 years

License : RDMS with RVT required

Certifications : ARDMS with AB, OB / GYN, RVT credentials

Must-Have : Proficiency in general abdominal, R / O DVT, R / O Ectopic.

Description :

The Imaging Department has multiple procedure rooms and imaging areas.

It supports a variety of imaging services provided by radiologists.

Most assignments will involve working with other sonographers.

Cases will vary based on the location and bench assigned.

Proficiency in general abdominal, R / O DVT, and R / O Ectopic imaging is required.

For some rotations, limited vascular, OB / GYN, neonatal head, breast, and prostate competencies are valued.

Support for invasive procedures such as thyroid and liver biopsies and drainages is also valued.

Competency in the use of various ultrasound units is necessary.

Scrubs or lab coat are required in specified colors.
