As a Payroll Specialist, you would be responsible for high-volume entry and administration of all payroll.

This is accomplished through standard concepts, practices and procedures in payroll.

This position also requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines.

A positive teamwork attitude, effective communication with the field and internal departments is mandatory for the success of this position.

Requirements :

• Good working knowledge of payroll practices and procedures, local, state and federal laws Experience in payroll administration is preferred  Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and critical thinking Ability to multi-task, organize, prioritize and coordinate work activities Effective oral and written communication skills, attention to detail and accuracy a must Knowledge of employee benefits, 401(k) plans, and accounting principals Knowledge of Bankruptcies, Child Support, Garnishment laws and Levies Intermediate to advance level in the following : Microsoft Office : Word, Outlook and Excel, ADP Vantage, ADP Reporting and ADP Enterprise timekeeping system Previous high-volume experience with payroll is a plus!
