A company is looking for a Claims Coverage Specialist who will serve as a technical resource on the Claims Legal team.
Key Responsibilities
Review and interpret insurance policies to provide advice on coverage and liability issues
Prepare written communications that explain coverage issues and assist claim adjusters in drafting professional correspondence
Identify potential risks and recommend strategies to mitigate exposure while supporting cross-functional initiatives
Required Qualifications
Juris Doctor and admission to at least one state bar
Minimum of 3+ years in insurance claims, coverage analysis, or related legal / industry work
Familiarity with insurance coverage principles, claims processes, and regulatory requirements
Experience in litigation or dispute resolution is a plus
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
