Billing Specialist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring a Billing Specialist which would be 100% onsite in Greenville, South Carolina.

Candidate will play a key role in keeping communication smooth between customers, regional teams, accounting, sales, and billing. Your work helps ensure the billing process runs efficiently and supports customer satisfaction.

• MUST have billing experience to qualify.

Worksite Location : 100% Onsite in Greenville, South Carolina

Pay : $23-25 / hour

Type : Temp to hire

Responsibilities :

Handle daily billing tasks for assigned accounts.

Make sure invoices are entered and sent out accurately and on time.

Follow standard accounting practices for revenue recognition.

Check that all required documents are included before invoicing.

Flag any billing issues that don’t follow policy and report them to management.

Work with accounting to resolve any billing discrepancies quickly.

Review weekly reports to avoid delays at month-end.

Help the billing supervisor with reporting tasks.

Collaborate with collections and cash teams for account reconciliation.

Join monthly team meetings.

Track issues to help improve billing processes.

Meet deadlines for invoices, credits, and adjustments.

Support both commercial and residential clients.

Qualifications :

Some billing experience, ideally at least 1-2 years and in construction or manufacturing.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Basic understanding of billing procedures and accounting practices is preferred.
