Overview
The Director of Marketing is responsible for creating and implementing the strategy for branding, promoting and selling the healthcare products to achieve corporate & division financial objectives. They will oversee all aspects of brand and product marketing and partner with sales leaders (Sales strategy and execution) and our integrated marketing team (digital, content, events, PR).
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies for a diverse product and service portfolio.
- Manage budgets effectively, optimizing marketing spend to maximize ROI, and promote a culture of marketing efficiency and impact.
- Drive marketing excellence in strategy development, product management, and communication efforts.
- Develop and execute the annual operating plan, long-range strategic plan, and marketing strategy, integrating consumer and healthcare provider (HCP) insights to shape commercial direction and long-term performance.
- Shape the consumer and healthcare provider (HCP) engagement strategy, ensuring brand consistency across channels, and delivering measurable business impact.
- Developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the organization's long-term business goals, identifying growth opportunities, setting measurable objectives, and adapting strategies to changing market conditions.
- Ensure brand messaging across all marketing channels and touchpoints.
- Conduct market research to understand trends, customer behaviors and competitive dynamics and use insights for marketing strategies and decisions.
- Drive the direction of digital marketing and communication and execute with the global team.
Qualifications
8-10 years of progressive experience in consumer marketing, brand strategy, or commercial marketing leadership, ideally within healthcare.Proven success in developing and executing strategic marketing plans that drive revenue growth, customer engagement, and market expansion.Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and align marketing strategy with commercial and operational priorities.Experience in HCP engagement, advocacy programs, and field-based marketing initiatives.Strong analytical skills with experience overseeing performance measurement frameworks, marketing analytics, and ROI tracking.Exceptional leadership and team development capabilities, with a track record of building high-performing, collaborative teams.Skilled in managing agency relationships and internal creative teams to deliver brand-aligned, high-impact marketing assets.Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.Experience
Track record of building strong brands and businesses.Background in healthcare marketing is preferred, but experience in related industries is acceptable.Experience in large companies with a deep understanding of global markets and dynamics.Experience in managing a team of marketing professionals for a minimum of five years.Education
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field is required.Master’s degree in marketing or business administration is preferred.Compensation
Starting base pay range is $180,000-$210,000+ bonus 20%Job details
