Description :

The position requires a Registered Nurse specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care.

Candidates should have a minimum of two years of experience.

The patient population includes neonates, specifically premature infants and term infants with complications.

Common conditions include respiratory distress and hypoglycemia.

The NICU is a Level III unit.

The nurse will be responsible for managing patients at a ratio of 1 : 3.

Skills required include arterial line management and central line care.

The nurse will provide care for feeding methods such as bottle, breast, and gavage.

Monitoring of intracranial pressure is necessary, as are isolation precautions.

Experience with IV vasopressors and neonatal abstinence syndrome is essential.

Ventilator management for various settings is also required.

The unit operates with interdisciplinary support from various services.

Travelers are expected to be available for major holidays during their assignment.

Compliance with all pre-employment requirements is mandatory.

Candidates must be fully compliant to start on time.
