Shift : Days

Hours : 0800-1630

Schedule : 5 shifts per week.

Some weekend call required.

POSITION DESCRIPTION :

The Clinical Nurse Manager / Educator (CNM / E) is a Professional Nurse who will assist the

Department Director(s) in the 24-hour responsibility of the day-to-day coordination of and quality of clinical nursing care as well as non-clinical supporting departments for staff and patients both in the hospital and community.

He / she manages human resources at the unit level in a cost-effective manner and assists in providing direction in changing workloads during crisis, emergent, and urgent situations.

The CNM / E will work with the Department Director(s) in developing, implementing, and / or evaluating appropriate education programs within the hospital and assigned departments; these programs are based on identified needs, quality initiatives, patient population, educational requirements of the staff, and general community education opportunities.
