Security Officer - Logistics Access Control

As a Security Officer - Logistics Access Control in Bloomington, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas within a dynamic logistics and distribution location. Your presence will provide reassurance while you conduct routine patrols, manage entry points, and interact with staff and visitors. You will contribute to a secure environment by delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication, all while upholding our core values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

Pay Rate : $18.63 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTimeWed01 : 00 PM - 09 : 00 PM

Thur01 : 00 PM - 09 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
  • Assist with enforcing site-specific policies and procedures as directed by Allied Universal and site management.
  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and / or personnel by addressing questions and offering directions as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the location, including the perimeter and operational areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for irregularities.
  • Document and report all incidents, observations, and activity as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including communication with Allied Universal management and local authorities.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • A valid guard card or license is preferred.
  • Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
