  • Reason for Coverage : Gaps while we recruit a full time surgeon
  • Practice Setting : Hospital
  • Average Number of Trauma Surgical Cases Per Day : 5
  • Trauma Level / Designation : Level 1 Trauma
  • Annual ER Volume : 80K
  • Percentage of ED Patients Admitted to the Hospital : 35%
  • Total Number of Beds : 617
  • Documentation System / EMR : Epic
  • Description of OR Staff : Full compliment
  • Patient Age Demographic : Primarily Adult / Geri but occasionally child / adolescent
  • Provider Must be Local - Only Mileage is Reimbursed

    • Procedures Required :

    • Trauma Cases ADULT
    • Trauma Cases GERIATRIC
    • PENETRATING Trauma Cases
    • BLUNT Trauma Cases
    • Chest Tube Insertion

      • Laparoscopic Procedures Required :

    • Appendectomy
    • Cholecystectomy

      • Estimated Credentialing Timeframe : 30-40 days to start if all licensure is active and good standing

      Submission Requirements

    • Board Certified- REQUIRED
    • Fellowship Training- REQUIRED
    • Active CT License- REQUIRED (can reconsider if no candidates available)
    • ACLS- REQUIRED
    • Local Candidates- Preferred
    • DEA - Verbal Confirmation Required at Name Clear
