Our Mortgage Warehouse - Note Finance division provides line of credit services to commercial borrowers such as private non-bank lenders and institutional debt funds to assist with their cash flow and operating needs. As a Note Finance Title Review Specialist, you will be responsible for understanding our department's policies, procedures and processes to identify gaps and opportunities for improved efficiency. The ability to work independently, prioritize projects, multi-task and remain organized while delivering business results is critical.

Responsibilities include :

• Someone with experience in examining chain of title on commercial and residential properties to ensure liens are recorded, identify exceptions and elevate anomalies
• Review loan closing documents, including preliminary title reports and closing statements obtained from customers to ensure any liens pending recording are reflected on closing documents for closure
• Orders title searches from third party vendors
• Gathers information to resolve title issues
• Searches, examines, and interprets real estate documents
• Audits legal documents for accuracy
• Communicates recording information and creates reporting
• Communicate professionally with all customers
• Understands existing processes and workflows, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement
• Support other Team Members with overflow work as needed
• Assist Manager(s) with ad hoc reporting as needed
